We are at this unique point in time where we&#039;re all re-assessing our values, taking a broader view of our interests than in the &#039;90s and the last few years.  Moving from a consumption-focused society to whatever it is that replaces it seems best done from a broader perspective than the simple financial considerations.  We&#039;re all employed to make money, it may be that we&#039;re at a juncture where the &quot;&lt;a href=&quot;http://economics.about.com/cs/economicsglossary/g/externality.htm&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;externalities&lt;/a&gt;&quot; will really matter in the considerations of how to allocate capital, and how to run our businesses.]]></description>
